Back to Home Page Click HereI've had low back pain since I was 16 years old. The doctors gave me pain killers, but the pain was still there! I figured I was too young to not be able to put on my own shoes without PAIN. Once I came to Pecan Valley Chiropractic and began care I noticed a HUGE difference. I began exercises and my back strength increased. My back feels AWESOME! I'm usually nervous to go to any doctor's office but I actually looked forward togoing to Pecan Valley Chiropractic. Brad A Cudnik D.C., C.C.R.D.Back in 1981, I was a college student and I loved long distance running. I wasn’t very fast, but running was a great source of joy and helped me survive the high stress of school. I suddenly developed severe hip pain and right leg pain. I couldn’t even run around the block. My doctor prescribed pain killers and muscle relaxers. I even spent hundreds of dollars on custom shoe supports, but nothing was helping! I was devastated and scared that my running days were over for good. But there’s more. A friend of mine convinced me to give a chiropractor a try. The chiropractor did an exam, took some films, and then “adjusted” my spine. The adjustment didn’t hurt, it actually felt good. I got relief, and I could run again. That’s when I told my family and friends I was changing careers and heading for Chiropractic school myself. They said it was a “fool stunt”, that I was crazy to spend the time and money. But, I never looked back. It was the best decision I ever made! I graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1986, and promptly moved back to Texas (I was born and raised in Houston, Tx.) and opened Pecan Valley Chiropractic Center. I have additional training in spinal injury and trauma, postgraduate certification in Chiropractic Rehabilitation, and I am a designated doctor for Texas Workers Compensation. I have written numerous articles, and am the author of several books including “What You Should Know before Going to a Chiropractor”, and have taught medical students and therapists as far away as Ethiopia. I am a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association. On a personal note, I am happily married and have three beautiful children. I still love running (not so long distance anymore), golf and other physical exercise. I enjoy and love what I do for a living and have been blessed to be part of so many peoples lives. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me directly at 210-359-9100. I would be happy to talk to you anytime, and look forward to meeting you. .
